the Cherry Blossom Dress

Hi everyone,
I defended my master's thesis yesterday and wore this:

I am not totally done though, so please don't start congratulating just yet. (Sorry for the poor light conditions, it was raining terribly outside.)

It's gotten a bit snug since I last tried it on, but oh well.
(dress: thrifted, tag reads "e.c. star" *shoes: sanita * slip: thrifted)

If you're wondering, my degree is in historic preservation and my thesis was on mid-century Airstream brand travel trailers.  I'm going to be doing some very special "aluminum fever" themed posts coming up.

In other news, I was interviewed by Laura of Applied Glamour this week about makeup. If you're interested in product reviews and makeup in general you should wander over to her blog.

  1. I really enjoy the cherry print pattern. I also like the composition and lighting of the last photo, and how the two patterns in it contrast with each other.

  2. What a cool topic for a thesis! Those Airstreams look beautiful rolling down the road, but I have always wondered about their interiors.
